We highlight linguistic and academic excellence across our state by providing ambitious award criteria that allow heritage speakers and world language learners to celebrate their accomplishments throughout their educational journey.

Schools and districts across Tennessee collaborate with the Volunteer State Seal of Biliteracy each year to celebrate and honor multilingual students in their communities. We hope that your local schools will join us in our work soon!
